ABOUT THE SAS BOOKS, JOURNALS & AUDIO-VISUALS

Printing of books and journals has always been an important part of the Society's work. While a large number of books are related directly to Yoga and its practice in daily life, there are many others on a variety of topics, attempting to present a deeper and spiritual insight.

Journals

The Society's main journal in English is the All India magazine (AIM) This is a monthly and is published regularly since 1971. AIM contains compilations from Sri Aurobindo and the Mother on various aspects of Integral Yoga and its application to life.

NAMAH, New Approaches to Medicine & HealthAnother journal is NAMAH (New Approaches to Medicine and Health). It is published twice a year. It aims at an integration of diverse systems and approaches to health and healing in the light of a yoga psychology and a deeper spiritual understanding of the human being.

The Society also publishes journals in some Indian languages. The details of subscription rates are available in the section on journals.

Audio Visuals

Audio Visual DepartmentAlong with books and journals, great importance is given to audio-cassettes, video-cassettes, CD Roms etc.

The video films are being made under the banner of Aurofilms, for which the Mother had given the following message :
