We welcome you to the Website of Sri Aurobindo Society, an international spiritual organisation inspired by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, and working for individual perfection, social transformation and human unity.

At the onset, this Website seeks to provide you with information about the following :

• Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, their lives, teachings, vision and work.
• The aims, objectives and history of Sri Aurobindo Society and a bird's eye view of the various activities of the Society.
• A brief introduction to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education and Auroville.
• How spirituality can be applied to life, specially in the fields of education, health, culture, management and business, women, youth etc.,
• There is an interactive section for all those who are looking for a meaning and purpose in their lives, or who are confronted with some problems, those of day-to-day living and are not satisfied with a superficial or temporary solution.

Our purpose is to bring together people from
all over the world who believe that man has a great
and glorious destiny, that life can be transformed and
made much more beautiful, harmonious
and fulfilling and who would like to work together
for realising this ideal.

Many of the activities mentioned here are only in the preliminary stages - an attempt to realise what Sri Aurobindo & the Mother have said or written. Some are still dreams and hopes, on a few a beginning has been made and on others the work is quite advanced. But we believe that all of us have a role to play and a work to do. As for the results, we leave it in the hands of the Divine Grace.
